Gambling-minded fans of the Philadelphia 76ers now have an extra reason to root for them this season.
The team joined Parx Casino Tuesday in announcing a “Win for All” promotion that will enable users of Parx online/mobile sports betting to receive bonus money of $25 or more to play with every time the 76ers win. (The team had 51 wins last season.) Parx operates an online casino with slots and table games in addition to an online sports betting site.
A press release states that those within a 150-mile radius of Philadelphia can take advantage of the offer (although users of the Parx online accounts must be within Pennsylvania state borders in order to actively gamble). Parx will advertise a custom promo code via social media and radio for online patrons to use after each win to activate the bonus.
“The bonus offer will begin at $25 per victory until the 76ers reach their 26th win,” according to the announcement. “After that, the bonus offer will begin corresponding with the 76ers’ victory count. For example, the 30th victory would result in a $30 bonus.”
The press release stated that additional bonuses would be available for certain games, including a Christmas Day home game vs. the Milwaukee Bucks.
‘Official winning partner’
“Parx Casino is excited to become the Official Local Casino and Official Winning Partner of the Philadelphia 76ers,” said Matthew Cullen, the Bucks County casino’s senior vice president of interactive gaming and sports.
“It is great to bring two highly recognized, successful, and popular Philadelphia area brands together. We look forward to a mutually beneficial partnership that drives Parx guests to support the 76ers and gives 76ers fans reasons to interact with Parx Casino both at the Bensalem property and via online casino products.”
The physical casino will become part of the new partnership by hosting six “76ers Nights” at its Beer Garden on Oct. 28, Nov. 29, Dec. 12, Jan. 3, Feb. 6, and March 24. Entertainers and alumni connected to the NBA team will be present in the casino during telecasts of its games.
Parx signage will also be prominent at the Wells Fargo Center during games through courtside LED screens and 360 LEDs. Parx is also presenter of the 76ers postgame show on 97.5 The Fanatic.
The Parx-76ers announcement follows by one month creation of a partnership between the SugarHouse Casino and Philadelphia Flyers with a focus on sports bettors during home hockey games.

During the Flyers’ games at the Wells Fargo Center, starting with the Oct. 9 game vs. the Devils, two SugarHouse-branded lounges will be provided in the main concourse and the top arena level to create comfortable seating and sports viewing. The lounges are designed to accommodate bettors using the PlaySugarHouse app.
The lounges will have bars and video walls showing the Flyers game and other contests, with SugarHouse “ambassadors” on hand to assist patrons with creation or use of their mobile accounts.
