Other Las Vegas poker rooms to close within the last few years include Circus Circus, Sunset Station, Aliante Station, El Cortez, Riviera, Texas Station, Palms, Bill’s Gambling Hall, M Resort, Tropicana, Gold Coast, Tuscany and Fitzgerald’s.

The last time the number of rooms was that low was the 79 in 2004.
Nevada’s live poker offerings continue to contract, despite online poker being in the mix since mid-2013. An online poker room closed last year due to lackluster revenue, bringing the number of Silver State online poker rooms to just two.
